A new crop of future dentists will slip into their white coats for the first time this evening as they officially begin the University of Manitoba dentistry program.
A total of 20 oral health students comprising the class of 2012 will take part in the ceremony. The students will be the first at the university to use a new digital dental teaching system, set to be unveiled in the coming months.
The event begins at 8 p.m. in Theatre A of the Basic Medical Sciences building at the U of M’s Bannatyne campus.
